KEYNOTE ADDRESS:
Clarity and Courage – Life as an Improvised Journey – Keynote Address with Music
Based on personal experience and using the piano, Tim Elliott engages an audience in the themes from his book of the same title. He invites his listeners to reflect on the need for Clarity and Courage in living an unscripted life. He links this to the experience of improvisation in music, commonly called jazz.
Often participants are invited to sing. Music opens doors to learning and provides a positive health related outcome. People feel better, report healthy feelings, and can breathe more freely. This one hour keynote is adaptable for organizations who are going through change and can be used with group discussion and participation to illustrate improvisation and creativity. A grand piano is required.
PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOP
Clarity and Courage: Vocation and Transition Workshop
Building on work with individuals, a program for people in transition is offered in a group setting which provides an opportunity for participants to share with and learn from other group members. Participants report a sense of appreciation for not being alone in their own journey toward clarity and courage. This workshop is also offered as Finding Vocation through the Centre for Spirituality at work.
